Please help Taimoor and his family in these challenging times.

Taimoor Ali is only 2 months old and has been diagnosed with CAVC PDA. It’s a matter of great concern for the parents who are frantically trying to improve his deteriorating condition.

While interacting with the CHF team, they shared their struggles and ordeals.  Taimoor was underweight when he was born and doctors in the Kasturba Gandhi Hospital had to keep him in the nursery for almost 7-10 days.

He was discharged and finally brought home but shortly after a month, the parents discovered that he had retractions (i.e., breathing with difficulty).  They had taken him to a hospital for vaccination, but instead, this condition was identified.  The treatment started immediately, and it continued for almost 15 days.

His ECG was done, and the parents were then advised to visit Dr. Vikas Kohli for the echo.  Dr. Kohli informed the parents about Taimoor’s condition – that he has two holes in his heart and needs intervention on an urgent basis.

The treatment required is ‘ Complete Repair’ and the estimated cost for the same is Rs. 4,00,000. The family, especially his father had lost all hopes when they visited the center. He mentioned, that these days, the expenditures have become more than his earnings, and every week, they are spending at least Rs. 1000 in commuting alone. They have almost exhausted their resources and need your help.

The child has been registered under the Hridaan Project. Please help Taimoor and his family in these challenging times.
