Level 1
Beginners start from Level I. Even those who handle the probe and machine are asked to start from Level I unless they have had formal LEARNING of Echocardiography basics. This is to ensure, we all speak the same nomenclature, know the same views. The foundations of all further learning are laid in this Level. A student who diligently goes through Level I is bound to be a good echocardiographer.
Level II
Level II ensures you get to learn the probe movements and understand the routine of following the steps of echocardiography as a routine.
Level III
You need to start practising but you still need supervision. This level is meant for you to ensure understand the need to follow the sequence and you fine tune your echocardiography skills.

A huge gap exists between India's requirements for pediatric cardiologists and the available numbers. It is generally recommended that one infant and new born heart surgery program is required for 5-10 million people.
In order to bridge the gap, CHF initiated this program to train medical fraternity in Rural and semi Urban areas of the Country. This will increase the screening and diagnosis of children with CHD
