Goldy Pandey aged 11 Years was born in Dobha, (Uttar Pradesh). Her father works as a Priest in Radhey Shyam Mandir with an irregular source of income. Goldy has taken birth at her home due to which we do not have a birth certificate for her. She was not well after birth that is why she was not able to pursue any education. Goldy Pandey has been diagnosed with Constrictive Pericarditis and her intervention includes Closed Heart Surgery. The estimated cost of her treatment was beyond the financial capacity of the family. She was registered under our CHF Hridaan Program. Soon CHF team started her fundraising and our donor partner came forward and we were able to get her surgery soon.
Post her surgery, Goldy Pandey along with her father recently visited the center. As per the reports, Goldy is fine now, and the parents have nothing to worry about. The father got emotional while talking to the team and mentioned how she no longer has water retention issues. Previously, her limbs would swell up frequently but after the surgery, she hasn’t experienced any of these episodes. The father gave blessings to all the team members and thanked everyone for helping their family.
