Priam was born in Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, said the father Pramesh Kumar. One day the child had a cold and flu and had to be taken to a physician.
The doctor informed Priam's parents that he needed echocardiography since he heard an irregular heart beating. Pramesh took Priam to Gandhinagar Hospital.
The doctor in the hospital confirmed to Pramesh that Priam has a hole in his heart, and he has nothing to worry about as Priam will heal with time.
However, after a year, Priam started showing symptoms like exhaustion, discolouration of the skin, and unconsciousness. Panicked Pramesh, took Priam to Lal Bahadur hospital, and was referred to Child Heart Foundation. Pramesh said the organization was helpful and assisted the family with echo. They look forward to the operation and are optimistic that Dr. Kohli will help their child.
Priam got registered under the HRIDAAN programme. He needs the procedure on an urgent basis to avert any possible adversity. The parents were unable to raise even a small amount of funds.
